Enhance Your Downloading Experience with the Free Download Manager Chrome Extension

Its Free But its not Working i just installed and saying to update and the update is same version i installed, at the end i didnt find it helpful,

doesnt work, says it needs to be updated but its on the newest version

Absolutely amazing! It really did increase download speed by 10x, and for FREE!

This is an excellent piece of software. Thank you very much for creating it... Keep moving forward! Best wishes !!! ???

Best and speedy Download manager for all type & size of files

Useful for some sites like the Internet Archive where download speeds can be very slow at times. This app helps it speed up at least a little bit.

Memory leak in this extension, after long time browsing, extension service worker can using 1~2 GiB memory or more (can see in Chrome Task Manager) and stop transfer download link to FDM client, you should restart Chrome to restore feature.

Works as intended. Thanks for making this free!

from last week it is unable to capture download from chrome

The app is good obviously, but the extension does not work most of the times. My browser download stuffs on its own, FDM does not even open.

I installed the flatpack version and we using the extension it just says "Settings aren't available for your FDM version. Please update it. " but I am on the latest release "Free Download Manager About x Free Download Manager Version: 6.34.4.6974 (B4fcafffc) Build date: Friday, July 31, 2026 9t6.10.3 OpenSSL 3.2.0 FFmpeg 7.1.3 Libtorrent 2.0.1.0 Libcurl 8.7.1, Libssh2 1.12.0 ib 1.2.11 © FreeDownloadManager.org, 2003-2026"

it stopped picking up download from pixeldrain?

It does not remember the option "Do not catch all downloads" on every browser restart. Incredibly frustrating as i only use this for Internet Archive and nothing else.

best dm ever.. but pls fix your extension.. there is problem when I'm trying to close chrome this extension making it longer to close..

FDM is good app but why your extension need this permission ?!! this is too much and unnecessary Read and change your browsing history on all your signed-in devices

cant download non torrent files anymore which was the whole point of why I had this app in the first place good job guys

Very Good !

great for large files

its sooooooooooo goood that i can even download pirated games

Best free Download manager forever.

Very Useful

Really good experience its about 100% faster using FDM

work good

First of all it's free.

FDM is equal or more to IDM. really unexpected to me.

Super good, out of all download managers this one is fast, good, and i love it. Those who rate under 4 has 0 IQ. To the review under me (`s review) It downloads in FDM not Chrome so it does stop it and downloads in FDM. Plus it works too good. You either set something up wrong or is a hater of FDM. Summary: I support FDM, Works good, `s review is false, and you should get FDM now.
